How long does shipping take?
We process orders in 2–4 business days, and carrier transit typically takes another 3–7 business days after that. Shipping is a $10 flat rate anywhere in the US and free on orders over $150. We currently ship to US addresses only. Full details are in our Shipping Policy.
What is your return policy?
Unopened, unused products in their original packaging can be returned within 14 days of delivery — just email support@surfacemdskin.com first for a return authorization. The full policy is in our Return & Refund Policy.
Are these products right for my skin?
The line is built around a five-step routine — cleanse, exfoliate, treat, hydrate, protect — and every product page lists what that formula is best for, so you can match products to your skin and your goals.

Who formulates Surface MD?
Dr. Raj P. TerKonda, a triple board-certified facial plastic surgeon, formulates the line together with our partner lab, Young Pharmaceuticals, established in 1977.
Can I use these products while pregnant or nursing?
Please consult your physician first — especially before using products with retinol or exfoliating acids. Your doctor knows your situation best.
Should I patch test?
Yes — with any new skincare, not just ours. Apply a small amount to your inner forearm or behind your ear and wait 24–48 hours. If you see redness, itching, or irritation, do not use the product on your face.
Why can't I buy Smooth Operator 5 or 10 right now?
They are finishing their production run and will be available soon. Join the newsletter to hear the moment they land.
What about Base Camp and the peel products?
Those are available through an in-office consultation only. Prescription compounding and professional peels need physician supervision, so we keep them at the practice.
Is my payment secure?
Yes. Checkout happens on Square-hosted, PCI-compliant pages — your card details go directly to Square, and we never see or store your card number.
