These terms govern your use of surfacemdskin.com and any purchase you make from it. We have written them in plain English, because you should not need a law degree to shop for skincare.
Agreement
By using surfacemdskin.com or placing an order, you accept these terms. The seller is Teleface PLLC, doing business as Surface MD, based in Denver, Colorado, USA. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the site.
Products & cosmetic disclaimer
Surface MD products are cosmetic skincare. Statements on this site have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration, and our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
Nothing on this site is medical advice. If you have questions or concerns about a skin condition, consult a physician. Skincare results vary from person to person, and we make no guarantee of specific outcomes.
Safe use
Follow the directions on each product's label, and patch-test any new product before using it regularly. If irritation develops and persists, stop using the product.
Products containing retinol or exfoliating acids can increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun — use sun protection while using them. If you are pregnant or nursing, consult your physician before using these products.
Ordering & payment
Orders are placed and paid for on checkout pages hosted by Square, Inc. — we never see or store your full card details. All prices are in US dollars.
We work to keep pricing accurate. If a pricing error occurs, we may correct it and cancel and refund affected orders. An order confirmation does not guarantee availability — if an item turns out to be unavailable, we will refund it.
Shipping
We ship within the United States. Shipping is a $10 flat rate and free on orders over $150. Orders are processed in 2–4 business days, and carrier transit typically takes 3–7 business days after that. Full details are in our Shipping Policy.
Returns
Unopened, unused products in their original packaging can be returned within 14 days of delivery. Email support@surfacemdskin.com first for a return authorization. Full details are in our Return & Refund Policy.
Consultations & in-office products
Some products — such as prescription-compounded formulas and professional peel kits — are available only through an in-person consultation at the practice and are not sold on this site.
Intellectual property
The content of this site — including the Surface MD name, branding, product names, photography, and text — belongs to Teleface PLLC. Please do not reuse it without our written permission.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to a product or to this site is limited to the amount you paid for the product, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Disputes & governing law
If something goes wrong, email support@surfacemdskin.com first — most issues resolve quickly. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, and any dispute will be heard in the courts located in Denver County, Colorado.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Updates will be posted here with a new effective date, and your continued use of the site means you accept them.
